As an Open and Affirming Church in the United Church of Christ, St. John’s provides a memorable wedding experience for ALL couples, including same-gender couples. Our pastoral team guides our wedding couples through a premarital counseling program before the big day, which our couples find life-giving and transformative in their long-term relationship. Priority in wedding scheduling is given to members and friends of St. John’s Church, although in their discretion our pastoral team performs wedding ceremonies for those who do not call St. John’s their “church home.” In addition to a memorable wedding experience in a beautiful sacred space, St. John's Church offers exceptional music, seating for up to 600, and a convenient downtown location with ample free parking. St. John's can also provide additional soloists and instrumentalists, beautiful candelabras, reception hosting, and/or nursery space.
