Had a wedding there on July 21. It was the most amazing day of my life! Everyone is still talking about my wedding. From the food, to the cocktail hour to the scenery to customer service everything! I will surely recommend to anyone!

The Valley Regency in Clifton, NJ is a beautiful outdoor and indoor wedding/affair venue, located minutes from New York City. It is convenient to Route 3, Route 46, the NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway. My 2006 wedding was held at the Valley Regency, and my guests gushed over the delicious food and beautiful rooms. Only 1 affair is held at a time, which is a plus in my book. My ceremony was held under a pictureque gazebo outside the facility. The photographer was able to capture beautiful shots on the grounds and gardens. The cocktail hour took place in a spacious room, which now has an balcony (it was being constructed at the time of my wedding). There was plenty of seating and plenty of room for the guests to move around. The Valley Regency offers a variety of hot and cold cocktail selections, including a carving station and sushi bar. The Grand Ballroom is just as lovely, with beautiful chandeliers and marble floors. There is also a nice-size dance floor. I chose from a vast selection of linen colors. My guests had the choice of one of three delicious entrees and were even able to bring home their leftovers. I got to select a cake and customize it to my liking. The staff was a pleasure to work with. If I had 1 single criticism, the staff rushed me a bit to clean out the bridal area, in order to make room for the next party. There are plenty of hotels in the area of the Valley Regency, many of which offer shuttle service to the facility. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Valley Regency as a beautiful and reasonably-priced wedding venue in the NY metro area.
