Perfect Venue! — An Eventective User from St. Augustine, FL

We held our Libertarian Party of Florida's annual convention at Aspirations Winery on February 20 & 21, 2026. Every attendee commented that it was our best venue yet! Our convention committee aimed to get out of stuffy hotel conference centers and spend less money on overpriced, bland hotel food without getting locked into a block of hotel rooms and instead focus on fun and fellowship. The winery was the perfect location to do just that. The location was great with plenty of parking in a prime area of town with lots of restaurants and hotels close by! The back room event space was the perfect size and included the stage and AV equipment, plus it had sturdy tables and comfortable chairs - neither of which needed linens to cover old furnishings or poor quality. It was an open space room and we were able to bring our own table decorations, too. Guests were able to order drinks (and snacks) at the front bar, but we mainly brought food in. There's a Costco and a BJs close by, so we were able to pick up breakfast and cocktail hour items for a much lower cost. We had lunch catered in. The staff was great! None of us live in Clearwater, so the communications were key during the planning phase and Bill was on top of everything and so very helpful with accommodating our party! Heidi ran the bar most of the weekend and knew people by name at the end of the weekend. The entire staff was super friendly and it is nice to support a locally owned venue. My only complaint (if you can call it that) is that they were sold out of their VCR blend wine which I had previously purchased when visiting and had requests to bring more back because it was that good!! We rarely host our event in the same city, but if I am ever back in Clearwater hosting any type of event, I would DEFINITELY book Aspirations Winery! Thank you for helping us host a fantastic event!!
