About The Old Lantern Inn & Barn
The Old Lantern Inn & Barn is located at Charlotte, VT. It is an 8000 square-foot Adirondack-style post and beam structure. Its frame was relocated from its original location in Jericho, Vermont in 1962. The Old Lantern has a stage, bar, and the largest maple dance floor in the state. There are four restrooms and room for over 350 people. Excellently situated, the Old Lantern is only 11 miles from Burlington, and 15 from Middlebury. There is plenty of parking, and acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Walk down the road for breathtaking views of the lake. Old Lantern has been a very popular country location for weddings, dances, concerts, banquets, special events and gatherings of all sorts. There are two rooms available Available seven days a week, you can plan business meetings, seminars and retreats around the Old Lantern's spacious facilities. Located on 9 beautifully landscaped acres, The Old Lantern is immediately adjacent to a scenic overlook with views which are among the best in Vermont.
