WalkerWorld offers a wedding like no other. Are you like no other? The venue has the Cape Fear River as a backdrop, surrounded by lush foliage, immersed in the collected eclectic. The main house is constructed of reclaimed materials, much of which comes from the remains of a floating dock from Bald Head Island. A 60 ft. rowing scull stretches upside down through the length of the house, extending out above the front entrance. The venue grounds span almost 10 acres and include the main cabin, artist studio, 500 sqft guest house, a 40'x40' Garagemahal, an 85' pontoon boat with piano, a mandala mediation circle with old palms, a plethora of antique Mercedes, more art than Betty Guggenheim, a swing made from a wooden California hot tub, and a 30' pyramid. The ceremony stage can be decorated to meet a bride's needs, rests near the river's edge, framed on each side by architectural metal arches, with a base constructed of beautiful hardwood planks. WalkerWorld is picturesque. The wedding albums produced at this venue rival any in North Carolina or North America. This venue is not polished, but invites the possibilities of life. Lodging sleeps up to 15. The main house includes a dreamy bridal loft, full of light and color, where a bride can prepare in elegance. The memories of a wedding are meant to last a lifetime, a wedding at WalkerWorld lasts generations.
