The Croquet Lawn and Terrace is a unique location to entertain your guests just after your ceremony. Guests will be welcomed to your cocktail reception with a glass of wine and butler-passed hors d’oeuvres. The beautifully manicured lawn can be set with croquet or bocce, if you wish, to add a hint of playfulness to your reception. Venue fee includes tables, chairs, bud vases, votive candles, ivory Frette table linens, Riedel crystal stemware and professional staff providing a presidential style of service.

With a backdrop of the majestic Santa Lucia Mountains and spectacular views of Carmel Valley, our Rose Garden at Bernardus Lodge and Spa is simply breathtaking. An expansive grassy lawn, a garden filled with over 40 varieties of roses, an organic chef's garden and an estate vineyard that produces some of the finest wines will delight your guests and provide you with the perfect paradise setting for the wedding of your dreams.

Dinner reception can either be held in the Meritage Ballroom, out in the Rose Garden, or on the Lucia Patio.
