The Fireplace Patio is a covered, outdoor patio opening off the Great Hall and next to the bar and kitchens. The area features a stunning granite fireplace that is a wonderful backdrop for intimate weddings, barbecues and parties. An all-season outdoor area, the Fireplace Patio is enclosed with a transparent tent for Holiday outdoor parties during the fall through early spring. Summer expands the area to include seating under the log stairs and into adjacent garden areas. The Fireplace Patio is a perfect area for buffet serving, grilling and catering. Extra seating can be set up in the many garden areas next to our streams and ponds in our extensive acreage and garden.

Explore our over two acres of landscaped garden, with two ponds, streams, outdoor wedding sites and reception sites, tent areas, gazebos, deck areas and stunning covered pation with granite fireplace. Intimate and large functions are equally at home in our grounds.

Once in the great room you cannot miss the 23-foot granite fireplace that completes the ambience of a true log home. Look up to see an authentic elk chandelier. Marvel at the structural timbers are the logs themselves – just as they would have built them in the past. Proceed into the “Deer Horn Bar” and you will see the chandelier that gave this bar its name. Both chandeliers where handcrafted by an artisan from Montana. You will also notice antique artifacts of yester year studding the two-story wall. Our bar top itself has local history. A 900-year-old oak tree (the 9th oldest in the US), living in Pleasant Valley California fell after a severe rain storm in 1982. Mike McGee, a local Christmas tree farmer saved several slabs of this tree “waiting for the right home”. As you look through the bar doors – you enter our fireside covered porch. Here you will find an authentic granite wood burning fireplace – perfect for those chilly nights.
