What is the event capacity at Burdett Hill Barn?

Our venue offers interior seating space for up to 100 guests. For parties exceeding 60 guests, particularly for full weekend rentals, the Glen Eastern Main house may be required to accommodate parking and overall guest volume.

Do you offer on-site catering or food services?

Burdett Hill Barn operates as a 'Do-It-Yourself' venue, meaning we do not provide on-site catering or food services. You are welcome to bring your favorite licensed caterer, decorator, band, and bartender. We can also provide a list of highly recommended local vendors to assist you with your planning.

What are your event rental packages and pricing?

We offer both 'one-day' (11 am - 11 pm) and 'multi-day' packages. Single-day weekend rentals for the upper barn only, for parties of 60 or fewer during our off-season (November - April), start at $3000 plus a cleaning fee. Weekday rentals for the upper barn typically range from $2000 - $2500 for one night, varying by event size. Smaller events on weekdays or Sundays may be available for $1200 - $1500 for one night. A full weekend rental, including both the upper and lower barn levels, is $5000 plus cleaning fees.

What spaces are included in an event rental?

Our main event space is the upper barn, which includes interior seating for up to 100 guests, a 15'x15' dance floor, two elevated decks, and a large patio. The back lawn provides a level 60'x60' space suitable for ceremonies and tenting. Multi-day packages also grant access to the lower barn party space.

Are accommodations available at the venue?

Yes, accommodations are available. The lower barn features two private suites, a game room, lounge, wet bar, billiard room, kitchen, and two full baths, capable of sleeping 4-8 people. This space can be rented separately for lodging at $400 per night. Additionally, the Glen Eastern Main is a four-bedroom, 3.5-bath house on the property that lodges 10-12 guests and is available at an additional cost.

What is the cleaning fee?

A $200 cleaning fee applies to each property rented. For clarification, the upper barn and lower barn levels are considered separate properties for cleaning fee purposes.

Can we have early setup or late breakdown for our event?

Our multi-day packages are designed to provide ample time for your event planning and execution. They typically grant access for setup on Friday and breakdown on Sunday, allowing for your rehearsal dinner and ceremony to be held on-site at no additional cost.

What are the parking arrangements at the barn?

The property includes a parking lot with space for up to 30 cars. For larger events with over 60 guests, renting the Glen Eastern Main house may be required to accommodate additional parking needs.
