Stonehedge House is a historic wedding venue in Buford, GA, near Lake Lanier, for up to 125 guests: a 1903 historic estate on more than two acres in downtown Buford, 45 minutes from Atlanta and minutes off I-985, with Levy Hall, a 2,000 sq ft reception hall opening onto a stone patio; the groom's lounge is upstairs in Levy Hall. Exclusive use of the property for your booked hours, tables and chairs for up to 125 guests, setup and breakdown, an on-site venue attendant, one hour of vendor load-in before your start, and private parking for 40 cars. Food, bar, decor and coordination are not included; bring any licensed and insured vendor you like, with no preferred-vendor markup.
Yes. Any licensed and insured caterer, bar service, florist, DJ or photographer is welcome, and there is no preferred-vendor markup. Alcohol must be served by a licensed, insured bartender (no self-serve bars). We ask every vendor for a certificate of insurance before the event, which protects you as much as the house. If you'd rather not build the team yourself, we have someone who can put together the full package.
Simple: the ceremony moves inside. We have three outdoor sites (the gazebo, the stone patio and the lawn under the trees), and the historic house and the reception hall are both ready on short notice if the weather turns. The house is the reason most couples book us, so nothing is lost by moving in.
Up to 125 seated with our own tables and chairs; up to 150 standing reception-style in the hall. Private on-site parking holds 40 cars, with free street parking on E. Shadburn Ave. For corporate events, where most guests arrive one per car, we recommend 70 guests or fewer.
Come see it first. Tours are most afternoons, weekends included; message us with your date and guest count and we'll get you on the calendar. We host one event per day, so a date is held only with a signed agreement and deposit: 25% for weddings, 50% for corporate weekday events. Amplified music ends at 10 PM per city ordinance, and overtime is $500 per hour.
