Expect beautiful music to entertain your guests or accompany you down the aisle if you choose Mia Theodoratus—a featured performer on television (Flight of the Conchords, Rubicon), in international fashion shows (Shanghai Tang, China; Ports 1961, NYC) and at performance events (Life Ball, Vienna). An experienced composer/arranger with several solo albums to her credit, she's performed and recorded with artists as diverse as Leona Naess, Ann Magnuson, TV on the Radio, and Fischerspooner. Venues include the Walt Disney Performing Arts Center (Dueling Harps), Carnegie Hall (Night of Inspiration) and the acropolis in Athens (Oedipus Rex).
To accommodate your design and budget, available instruments include: a full-size pedal harp, an electric CAMAC harp, and 26 or 36 string Celtic Harps. Mia performs solo, or with traditional Celtic accompanists, or as a pop vocal duo with Adam Dugas. She has an MFA in Harp and World Music and teaches at the Irish Arts Center in New York.
