About The Gilded Lily
The Gilded Lily was born from a dream two sisters had to provide a venue where friends and family could gather for a special occasion. When a building became available in the historic Whistle Stop district of Irondale made famous by the author Fannie Flagg in her book “Fried Green Tomatoes” they knew they had found the perfect place. The historic building has nostalgic charm located on a street with old style street lights, easy access, and ample parking.
