The oceanfront Addy Sea, located on the corner of Oceanview Parkway & North Atlantic, steeped in history and legend, is one of Bethany's most famous landmarks. A mere glance at its late-Victorian exterior, clothed in the classic cedar shingles the town's early houses wore and trimmed with lacy gingerbread, brings to mind a bygone era in which visitors came to the beach by steamer and horse-drawn buggy.
The Addy Sea has 13 guestrooms and accomodates 37 comfortably. Building restoration has been done, taking great care to remain true to tradition and the dignity of this elegant Victorian lady. The Holiday Inn Dover - Downtown hotel places you near the area's best attractions and most prominent businesses. This hotel is located on route 13 the DuPont Highway. We are a full service catering facility that features more than 2700 square feet of event space. If you're looking for central location with full service catering abilities, you have found the hotel for you. Our Ballroom can seat up to 90 people at banquet round tables comfortably and 100 people theater style. The Boardroom can seat up to 15 people theater style. We cater Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner allowing you choose the menu, and leave the cooking to us. We do allow celebration cakes to be delivered to the hotel, but all food and beverage must be purchased from the hotel. Special Group Discounted rates can be set up for the attendees of any function or meeting. Pricing is dependent on dates and availability. Banquet Menus are available upon request.
