You go to Bones to get the best steaks in Atlanta, but you get so much more. The wine list at this place is amazing. The service is out of this world. The dining room is set up so that each table has plenty of privacy. It might be crazy, but my favorite part of the meal was the mashed potatoes - or maybe it's a tie between that and the pecan pie I had for dessert. The service is five-star. When I got up to go to the restroom, someone appeared out of nowhere and ushered me to the restroom. When I came out, he was there waiting to walk me back to my table. This is serious service. Our waiter was fantastic and knowledgeable. This place is super fancy, yet still seems homey and down-to-earth. Unless there's a private space that I couldn't see, I don't think a super large party would be great here, since the dining room is divided up to give privacy to each table. Of course, the steak is out of this world. I had the filet, and it was unbelievably good. You can be as picky and specific as you want about how you want your steak cooked, and they will get it right the first time. I would definitely recommend Bones for anyone looking for a venue for a small party for a special occasion.
