Yes, I work with couples from all over the southern half of Michigan. I travel for free within the first sixty miles of my home (Ann Arbor), which includes Detroit. Beyond that incurs a $250 fee. On occasion, couples who live significantly further are welcome to discuss covering costs of airplane ticket and overnight accommodations.
Yes, I work with LGBTQ+ couples. I will gladly provide references if this interests you.
Yes, I marry interfaith couples. No, I don't require them to make any promises as to how they'll raise their children. I believe loving couples will figure out how to raise their children in the best possible way. Couples are certainly welcome to pick my brain as to what issues they may run into, or how others have navigated their situation before them. But I trust couples to make their own decisions, and don't judge them for it.
Yes, it is okay if you don't convert. It is alright to come as you are to your wedding. Conversion is a profound experience, so most people don't enter it lightly. If you have deeper questions around the conversion process, or what it means to convert, I am happy to help you think through your concerns. Ultimately, though, I trust you to follow your conscience and remain open to what the universe has in store for you.
Sometimes couples have potentially problematic issues that keep them up at night with respect to their wedding. There is no issue too difficult or messy for us to address. During the preparation process, we'll explore your concern thoroughly, and if necessary, come up with a plan. The goal is for you to enjoy your wedding day as fully as possible, without undue anxiety!
