Our 8000sq ft Inn is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a former Maine Governer and Government Senators family home. If you ever saw the the "Golden Globe" award winning film "The Aviator" starrring Leonardo De Caprio as Howard Hughes then you will of seen Alan Alda from MASH playing the Senator that was in charge of the Government task force that tried to bring Howard Hughes down. In that film Alan Alda played Senator and also Governor Owen Brewster and its his home we have so its pretty historic Our home was on TV across the USA on HGTV in June 2008 as we were filmed for one of their programmes "If Walls Could Talk" in Oct 07 Other noted people to of stayed here inc Presidents Truman and Taft, 7 Senators that we're aware of and Louis B Mayer, the founder of MGM Films. We are specialists in staging and project managing weddings at the Brewster Inn whether they be for 2 or 200. Each wedding we do is tailored to your exact requirements to give you that unique and special day that you will remember forever.
Due to the size of our Inn we're also the accommodation of choice for many brides that have their wedding going on elsewhere but want their bridal party, family and friends staying together.
