Over a hundred years old, St. David of Wales is full of rich history and character. It is an ideal venue for many types of events, such as worship services, music events, group meetings, memorials, weddings, TV/Movie film shoots and more. Two rooms are available to rent: The Sanctuary and the Lower Hall. The Sanctuary, located on the second floor, has beautiful stained glass windows on both front and rear. The Sanctuary has a high ceiling, classic wooden beams, floors and pews. It also has a small room (sacristy) connected to the stage area available. The Sanctuary is ideal for such things as church services, weddings, music events (eg. recitals, band/choir rehearsals), memorials and TV/Movie film shoots. Sound system and equipment available upon request. Capacity of up to 100 to 120 guests. The Lower Hall, located on the first floor, is a multi-purpose carpeted room and ideal for small to mid-size group meetings and classes. Chairs and tables available upon request, along with sound equipment, projector screen and TV/monitor. Capacity of up to 30 to 50 guests depending on type of event. A small parking lot is available on the north side of the church. The First floor (Lower Hall and bathroom) is wheelchair accessible. There is a chair lift available to access second floor (Sanctuary). St. David of Wales is situated in East Vancouver, BC at 2475 Franklin St. near East Hastings St. and Nanaimo St.
