The Nickelodeon Hotel, Not Just For Kids Anymore! — An Eventective User from Orlando, Florida

The Nickelodeon Hotel has a new venue, and it's fantastic. We just had a meeting there, and the room is great. We were one of the first people to use the space so I don't believe many people are aware that it exists. To be honest, I was surprised that the decor of the room did not have anything to do with any kids characters. Instead it was nicely picked out in yellows and earth tones, so it is clear that this is a conference room designed for business people and adults. There were many large circular tables, but we fit over 100 people easily in the space, as well as the catering. And there's a nice outside area for people to lounge and mingle when not in the room. It has a huge projection screen that takes up about a third of the wall, 4 large televisions that ring the room, and hookups for everything that you could need. Our PowerPoint presentations showed up on every monitor and looked enormous on the main screen, so there was no problem with lines of sight. It looks like this room was also designed for movie screenings as there are theater speakers around the room, and the sound was clear no matter where we were seated. One of the main presenters even sang the National Anthem and it sounded clear as a bell. I can easily recommend this space for other professionals and people looking to hold their business meetings. Even though the kids and characters are not far away, the overall presentation and the proximity to so many other hotels and attractions make this a viable venue. I loved it.
