About Urban Art

Not quite in Midtown, on the edge of SOSA and a few blocks away from the Plaza District is Urban Art. What was originally built as an automotive school in the early 1900's is now Urban Art, home of Art Fusion, a fused glass studio, Blue Sage Glassblowing Studio and GlassWorx, a glass supply house. Our venue is eclectic, quirky, constantly evolving and a true urban experience. Since opening our renovated space nine years ago, Urban Art has been offering party packages for groups both small and large who want to enjoy a creative space. If you want the unique ambiance of a working art studio, you can rent all or part of the building with the option of having glassblowers working during your party or event. There are party packages that let individuals in your group make a piece of fused glass or a blown glass art piece. We can even have something made for your guest of honor using colors and styles of your choice. We have a one-of-a-kind patio and courtyard area created from industrial machine parts, metals and glass art sculptures. Our patio creates spectacular photo opportunities and is used regularly by Oklahoma City photographers for portrait pictures. Our copper door is a backdrop favorite. Our patio is well lit and ready for a band or D. J.

Small Wedding Bliss - An Eventective User from OKLAHOMA CITY, OK

While small, this venue packs a dramatic punch! Industrial meets art at Urban Art. I recently got married here as it was a perfect place for under 80 people. Mara is lovely and very helpful. This event space is perfect for the DIY couple who want to make a space their own. I was able to decorate how I wanted and because of the beautiful art displayed, not much was needed. All of my friends raved about my "awesome wedding" and I am very, very happy. Highly recommend.
