Tucked behind historic brick walls on Elysian Fields Avenue, Promise Garden is one of New Orleans' most distinctive outdoor event venues. The courtyard offers approximately 55 by 50 feet of open garden space accented by mature landscaping, hardwired perimeter lighting, and warm festoon lights overhead. A semi-enclosed Auto Shop area with original scaffolding provides character and shelter for ceremonies, dinners, or live performances. The venue accommodates up to 200 guests and includes access to an indoor kitchen, two single-stall gender-neutral bathrooms, and storage space.
Promise Garden has hosted weddings, anniversaries, photo shoots, graduations, baby showers, fundraisers, and intimate concerts. The venue is operated by the Promise of Justice Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and all rental proceeds directly support criminal justice reform work in Louisiana
