Museum of the Southern Jewish Experience

818 Howard Avenue, New Orleans, LA

$300 to $2,000 / Meeting
Shalom, make yourself at home. The Museum of Southern Jewish Experience opened in 2021 on Howard Avenue. The Museum consists of three floors: Our permanent galleries and gift shop on the first floor, our event space on the second floor, and our recently opened special exhibition gallery and research center on the third floor. Our event space can accommodate 60 people seated or up to 125 people standing and is available during the Museum’s operating business hours as well as after hours. Its exposed brick walls give off a rustic feel that feature photography by Bill Aron and art by Maurice Schmidt. There’s plenty of room for buffet-style dining, bartending services, and cocktail style tabling, making it ideal for family reunions, receptions, wedding rehearsal dinners, self-catered meals, bar/bat mitzvah celebrations, and so much more. We also offer full Museum buy-outs after hours for event attendees to have private access to our galleries.
