Phenomenal view of LA. The recent makeover turned this private club setting into a boutique hotel experience, fully open space, modern interior reminiscent of a W hotel meets Mondrian lounge. A big 100inch screen room for sports event, extensive appetizers that include kobe beef sliders, tuna tartare and truffle fries! Dining room service is fantastic as well, typically catered by 4-5 people. Lamb loin served in succulent balsamic glaze with baby greens, lobster tails sauteed with clarified butter or the daily specials that have included blue crab or roasted halibut. Situated on top of the symphony towers, a perfect place for a fabulous meal before the symphony... It's no longer just your fathers club: After a HUGE remodel and addition of some 2500 sq feet, the place looks totally different. While I'm not a fan of the new colors (or the plastic seats) , I do love the new space, the new lounge expansion with large screen tv next to the bar(which they kept the same, thank goodness!). and the new programs showing movie night, etc. which are better designed to have the HUGE membership meet each other. This is one of the problems with this club: we seldom see the same people each time we go. You can expect the same excellent staff and the food is the same high quality, and of course, the same great view, just expanded!
