Samosa House is an Indian Vegetarian and Vegan Restaurant situated in Culver City, CA. Opening in 1979 as Bharat Bazaar, an Indian Grocery store, we have
served Culver City and West Los Angeles for over 30 years.
In 2006, we renamed ourselves as Samosa House, in honor of the appetizer that we have served since our genesis. Since then, Samosa House has become a
cultural and social gathering place for vegetarians and like-minded people around Culver City, serving gourmet Indian food at non-gourmet prices.
Our most popular option is the Combination meal in which you can get three sides from our buffet along with white or brown basmati rice and your choice of
bread. We bake our naans (bread) fresh in the tandoor so that customers can enjoy a hot and scrumptuous meal. We serve the best samosas in town as we have
been doing over the past 30 years. Other appetizers include Spinach & Onion, Cauliflower, Chilli Pakoras and our special Vegan Burger, the Dabeli, which is
the talk of food critics all over town. Drinks include the quintessentially Indian Mango Lassi and Masala Chai along with a special Rose Milk.
Samosa House prepares its food using the best and healthiest ingredients. Fresh vegetables, Olive Oil, Coconut milk, Cashew Milk and Almond Milk and spices
such as Cardamom, Cumin & Fennel are some of the ingredients that we use in our dishes. Keeping in mind the sensitivies of our health-conscious customers, we
shun the use of high-fat and unhealthy food in our dishes.
Over the years, we have undertaken catering for events in Culver City and the West Los Angeles area. From small appetizers-only events to full-fledged
wedding catering, we do it all! We can customize your catering as per your needs and to suit both your culinary tastes as well as your budget. We have also
served as the food vendor in events such as the Conscious Life Expo at the Hilton, LAX, the Health Freedom Expo at the Long Beach Convention Center and
various Yoga and Health-related events in and around LA. We are the exclusive Indian food partner for the Los Angeles Convention Center where we have done
events such as the Autoshow and Skidazzle.
To be able to serve even more vegans and vegetarians around the city, we opened up our first branch, Samosa House East, in the heart of Culver City in
December of 2009. Completely family-owned, Samosa House East is carrying forward the tradition and ethos of the original Samosa House.
Keeping in mind our social responsibility towards the community, Samosa House went green in 2008, replacing our packaging and serving material with eco-
friendly alternatives. We hope to carry on our mission to provide healthy, vegetarian food to our patrons at low prices. Keeping our customers healthy and
happy is our ultimate aim and we will do our best to attain that aim.
