Event Professionals is a spectacular value for catering in Los Angeles. You can give them a reasonable budget and they will put together what you need; we compared numerous caterers in Los Angeles, and they were the best value we could find, and they did a superb job. Their office location is a bit northeast of downtown, so they are in a lower-rent area than some of the westside caterers, which I believe enables them ultimately to provide you with better value. They will provide a sit-down tasting at their offices, and will work with you closely to provide what you need. They have all the options (fancy chairs, colors, variety of food choices, etc.) that any other caterer has, yet they are experienced in ways to make the options work to fit your budget. Event Professionals has catered events at many of the common Los Angeles wedding locations, so they will actually recommend places to you and they are aware of some of the best-value, somewhat-hidden locations -- if you have no location yet, you might want to go to them first. Finally, we did not have a separate wedding coordinator, yet we used their "day of" coordinator option, and it was a way to get an excellent value, as they took care of everything that day.
