Supported Layouts and Capacities
We strolled down the sidewalk, not really knowing what to expect, when we stepped inside the Joynt, we were more than impressed. The cool blue lights and the yellow aura around the classy yet modern bar was intriguing. It wasn't too overly crowed when we arrived and upon reaching the third level, we were able to snag a table with the considerate help of one of the servers. She even went out of her way to accommodate our large group. My friends were throwing a "good-bye" party for me. It was my last time in Chicago for six months and being at the Joynt was a perfect send-off. The drinks were reasonably priced and the atmosphere is cool yet amiable. I happen to be a big fan of Frank Sinatra so the live jazz room was my favorite. The piano player graced the keys with passion and the singer gave a solid rendition of "Strangers in the Night." If you are not much for jazz, there is a lower level where you can get your groove on in a more hip setting. The middle level you can leisurely lounge at the bar while sipping your favorite cocktail and slow dance. The windows allow your view to feast upon the Chicago glittering city nightscape. Overall, The Joynt is a place I would recommend to family and friends alike. There's something for everyone. I believe Frank Sinatra coined the phrase, Chicago is my kind of town. I have to agree and say the Joynt is my kind of venue. It is definitely a night to remember!
