I love House of Blues. They have never let me down. Even among the confusion and chaos it always feels somehow relaxed and comfortable, like home. House of Blues, located on 329 North Dearborn Street, just north of Wacker Drive in the heart of downtown Chicago is a great place to catch any show. Wonderful sound, an intimate, but not overcrowded atmosphere, and stunning decor make this a must see when visiting Chicago. While the food is not the greatest, it's pretty decent. The downside is the portions. Very small portions. However, that's hardly the reason for going. Everything is reasonably priced including tickets. I have never had to wait outside more than 15 minutes, which is a definite plus in the colder and hotter months. This is an extremely popular destination for both locals and tourists. The atmosphere is very neat and clean, including the bar. There are never really many complications. The bathroom is easily accessible. Every kind of show is great there. From blues to gospel to metal to dance/techno, this is always a great venue! House of Blues is a beautiful venue with beautiful architecture and beautiful decor. The stage is very easy to see and the bar is nice. This is a great place to catchy any sort of show there is.
