Planning an event in Miami can be a daunting task, as there are so many available types of venues. First consideration should be given to the style desired for the event and size of the guest list. Is it to be a casual party or a full-blown black tie dinner?
There are a number of local mansions, public museums and gardens which lend themselves nicely to a formal event, and can accommodate large parties. Any of the areas many country clubs, banquet halls, reception halls, or elegant hotel ballrooms are also available for consideration.
Of course, many event planners in Miami will head directly for the action of South Beach itself. To have a wedding or other event on the beach, permission from the City of Miami Beach is required. It's possible to plan a simple barefoot wedding on the beach and head to one of the hot South Beach clubs to celebrate!
