The Washington State History Museum is where fascination and FUN come together! People of all ages can explore and be entertained in an environment where characters from Washington's past speak about their lives. Through interactive exhibits, theatrical storytelling, high-tech displays and dramatic artifacts, learn about our state's unique people and places, as well as their impact on the country and the world. The Washington State History Museum offers a variety of spaces that can be used individually or combined to suit a wide variety of events, from small business meetings and lunches to receptions for over 300 guests. The Museum even has its own auditorium with over 200 seats, ideal for conferences, awards ceremonies, or even a movie! Begin your journey through Washington with an architectural masterpiece: designed by Charles Moore and Arthur Andersson, the 106,000 square foot museum building stands proudly on Pacific Avenue in Tacoma. The museum boasts soaring spaces and dramatic archways that invite you into a history experience full of colors, textures, sights, and sounds.

Incredible venue an event!! - An Eventective User

We had our daughter’s engagement celebration here. The staff was timely and attentive. Mr. Dave Becker, our point of contact, was helpful and accommodating. Our guests loved being able to visit the exhibits. HIGHLY recommend!!

Rehearsal dinner - An Eventective User from Port Orchard, WA

Celebrated our son’s rehearsal dinner with around 75 guests, many from out of state. It was a wonderful venue. Family and friends were able to browse the museum during the party. Dave Becker made renting and using the facility stress free. Lots of compliments from everyone who attended. So thankful we chose to have our party there.

So much fun! - An Eventective User

This was a great place for our office party! The room was just great for the 35ish people we had and it had a great view. Dave was just awesome to work with and they made it super easy to set up everything. They even put together a little scavenger hunt you can do while people go view the museum exhibits which was fun to host the party and have viewing the stuff a main attraction. Totally recommend for anyone's small party (although they do have rooms for bigger events too which I am sure would go over just as smoothly).

We held a rehearsal dinner here. The venue is professionally run and we and our guests really enjoyed the venue. The staff was amazing and was there within seconds when I needed any type of help. Would definitely use this venue again and again!

Fantastic venue with amazing staff! - An Eventective User

Rented the Odlin Board Room and balcony and was not disappointed. The staff took care of everything from assisting the caterers to the bar service to setting up for my husband’s retirement party from the US Army. I highly recommend you use their venues and services for a success event. :)
