Crocker Memorial Church is a beautiful quaint historical setting for small weddings and events up to 100 people. Built in 1901 and in continuous use ever since, this charming little white church is a marvel of adaptive use. It has been moved three times and has now come to rest in the city owned Pioneer Park, the home of the Historical Society of Sarasota County. The Crocker Memorial Church sits next to the Bidwell-Wood House, built in 1882. Both the spacious front and back porches of this home are welcome gathering places for your wedding party and guests. Photography is permitted at both locations as well as on the gournds. There is a sound system in the church. The Crocker Memorial Church was officially decommissioned in 2004 and today embraces all demonations for religious or secular wedding services. The white painted pine pews are original.
