Quaint and useful - An Eventective User from Lansing, MI

The AMA Center is located in the Marriott Marquis Hotel in the heart of San Francisco. Our company planned a retreat AND vacation to the San Francisco area and wound up choosing this venue for the entire week. We had seen other reviews and were impressed. In total, there were 15 participants and each person enjoyed their stay. The conference rooms were the perfect size for small individual gatherings and easily accessible throughout the entire day to all of the participants. Each conference room, including the class room has built-in AV Equipment. We hit only one snag with our presentations or meetings, and if we did, the staff made it quite clear than an IT guy was there to assist us, which turned out to be true. Within 10 minutes of our phone call, they were able to assist and fix our issue; the computer was experiencing issues with the Sound Card driver, but easily fixed with a restart. The classroom was great for our daily presentations. It was comfortable and had plenty of space for notes and an actual discussion to take place. The lighting in the room was probably the most impressive I've seen in a room; it provided a calm ambience depending on the speaker, if we deemed it necessary. The meeting rooms were stocked with Coffee and necessities rather frequently and we were gracious of that fact. The staff was extremely attentive to anything we needed and efficient to boot. They have impressed us so much that we will most likely return next year when we plan out our retreat.
