Voxy is a San Diego vocal band, created to deliver a fun a cappella vibe to events in the SoCal region. While we sometimes perform with guitar or bass accompaniment, we often perform songs in the contemporary a cappella style, which means we perform current music hits using only our voices: think Pitch Perfect, the box office hit movie about a cappella - we even have a beatboxer just like the groups in the movie! We like to perform fun songs to entertain a crowd and we cover all types of popular songs from the 50's to today's pop music. Typical performances range from 2-5 songs from our current repertoire including medleys and mash-ups, but we can customize a performance set for any event. We can even create customized arrangements to fit your entertainment needs! Because we often perform with only our voices, our act is very portable - we can sing literally anywhere and don't need any sound equipment. We can also perform on stage using just 5 microphones to reach a larger audience. For a longer event, we suggest performing some songs with acoustic guitar in addition to a cappella, so there is variety for every audience. Our goal as performers is to make sure YOU have a great time! Great ready to "voxy jam!"
