Overview: Ultrazone in San Diego has always been one of my favorite places to have parties. Unlike most low-budget laser tag venues, Ultrazone San Diego sports a multi-level subterranean city for participants to explore and fight in. In addition to its city-of-the-future like atmosphere, the arena contains mazes and hidden bunkers for players to navigate as they try to capture enemy bases. Participants are outfitted in armor weapons designed to register ""hits"" to the upper body, allowing for semi-realistic battles where the wounded are unable to fight... At least for a while. Price: During normal daylight hours, the price for admission clocks in at $7 per each 20-minute game. Though a little on the pricey, this is still has a reasonable bang for your buck, considering the amount of fun you get out of it. Kids under the age of ten can play for $5.50 from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. There are also some great packages for birthday parties and large groups, ranging from simple group-discounts to full on catered private parties. Final Words: Overall, I highly recommend Ultrazone San Diego. While a little on the pricey side, the amount of sheer joy one gets from re-living Star Wars movies is definitely worth the money.
