Getting the facts from Rev. Byron — An Eventective User from Roanoke, Virginia
Thank God we talked to Rev. Byron who explained to us that if our marriage takes place in Virginia, we must have a Virginia marriage license, and a Virginia Officiant. Our friends made the mistake of doing a Zoom Wedding thru Utah, and their Virginia Court would not accept the marriage because Virginia Law says that if the Wedding is in Virginia, you must have a Virginia Marriage License and a Virginia Officiant. Our friends thought that Zoom Weddings are not legal in Virginia because of misinformation stated by Utah Officiants. We are thankful that Rev. Byron sent us the email from the Commonwealth of Virginia stating that all remote marriages are legal in Virginia , with a Virginia Marriage License and a Virginia Court Authorized Officiant. Wonderful Roanoke Civil Ceremony — An Eventective User from Roanoke, Virginia
Thank God for Rev. Byron who performed our Roanoke Civil Ceremony, and he performs all the area civil ceremonies. The fee is only $100, and all guests are welcome compared to other Officiants who do a quick rushed ceremony for $500, and no guests allowed. Dejah and Derek
