I cannot recommend The Workshop enough for any type of event/party/celebration! Hosted my husband's 50th surprise party there and it was absolutely perfect. The space is beautiful and truly perfect for any size event. I was planning this party while pregnant with my third baby, and Kerith was truly a dream to work with. She made it so easy from start to finish, was communicative, and helped in every way. Will definitely plan to hold future parties and gatherings at The Workshop! What a gem of a space!

Kerith was incredibly helpful from the start, clearly outlining what was already available in the space (tables, linens, chairs, hurricanes, and more) and what could be customized. I chose to rent and bring in a few items of my own to complete the look I envisioned, and Kerith was supportive every step of the way — even helping with some of the custom touches herself. What really sets The Workshop apart is its flexibility. Weddings aren’t one-size-fits-all, and having access to a variety of décor options already on-site made it so much easier to create a celebration that felt uniquely ours. Even better — so many of these items were included in the rental, which helped us stay within budget without sacrificing style. Kerith is clearly building something special: a community-centered space where people can celebrate life’s biggest moments without breaking the bank. The Workshop by T&D is a fantastic event space! We used it for a retirement party (200 guests) and the venue far exceeded our expectations! The owner (Kerith Rae) has a special talent in configuring the space for the event. She set it up and decorated in a way we had not imagined. Everyone raved about it! Some said it was like a wedding. Kerith took the time to make sure we had everything we needed! The bartenders she recommended were phenomenal and extremely professional! I highly recommend this event space!!!! Everyone had a great time!!!!! There is also a public parking lot about a block away.

My husband and I were so very lucky to have booked The Workshop by T&D as our wedding venue. It was the first and only place we looked at. I truly cannot say enough good things about it. Gorgeous on the inside and out. The venue itself is huge! It has everything you could possibly ever need. Kerith has done a wonderful job of putting together such a beautiful space not only for weddings but for other events as well. The pricing/packaging is quite reasonable and probably the best in RVA with the option to include a wedding planner/coordinator. DO NOT SKIP OUT ON THIS!!! I cannot say this enough our wedding day went seamlessly thanks our amazing wedding planner/coordinator Emma Wolff with Wolff Weddings & Events LLC. She was with us every single step of the way. From the time we booked the venue in October until the very end of our wedding night and then some. I was in no way stressed out about our wedding because of Emma. She is the best at her job and truly loves what she does. 10/10 stars for this venue and Emma.

Check -in and check-out/event clean up was easy and hassle-free. Highly recommended for weddings, community events, and social events. Multiple guests mentioned how beautiful the venue was even down to the bathrooms!
