Great Venue Getting Better, An Eventective User from Richmond, Virginia

Though it only opened a few years ago, the Westin Richmond, on the outskirts of Richmond, VA., rapidly became known as a wonderful location for meetings and gatherings. It's location (off of I-64) makes it easy to reach from all surrounding areas of Richmond, and beyond. The Westin's modern and spacious meeting rooms and entry set the stage for comfort. I've experienced conference breakfasts, buffets with seating for 100 to 250 people. There are many menu seletions and reasonable price ranges. The staff is extremely pleasant and accomodating - from managers to waitstaff. Hopefully, within the next few months, the recent rennovations will be complete - a new expanded ballroom space, extended lobby area, and I'm sure more that hasn't been revealed yet.

The RVA Event Space, is approximately 6,000 sf of space and holds up to 400 in the event space, with room for an additional 300 people with use of the outdoor patio. The converted warehouse is a flexible space and can be set up in banquet, reception, or theater style. The space was once a part of a former cardboard manufacturing plant and warehouse, and was converted to an event space in 2003. GROUP LOGISTICS The maximum capacity to sit-down events at Plant Zero is 350 people. The maximum capacity for cocktail-style events is 400. There is a parking lot at the entrance as well as street parking. Included with the basic space are tables and chairs. Add-ons that can be provided include staging, event lighting, audio, lecterns, curtains, video projection. Dogs are allowed.
