Friendliest Staff and Georgous Location, An Eventective User from Salem, Oregon

The Lan Su Chinese Garden is the ""Garden of Eden"" Of Portland. If you have any interest in Asian architecture or even just a little fondness of plant life this is the place for you. Once you visit the Garden will instantly go to the top of your list. Located right in the heart of Portland's Chinatown the venue is easy to find and right next to anything you may need. There is no onsite parking but there is plenty within a comfortable walking distance- even in heels! Also, in walking distance is the Portland waterfront which is a great place for wedding photos during the spring when the cherry blossoms are in bloom. Whether your wedding is in the middle of a rainy December or warm August you are sure to have beautiful background. The Garden is arranged so that plant life flourishes throughout every season. You can visit every month and spot something new every single time. Friends and family will be in awe of the place. On top of its beauty and convenient location the Lan Su Garden has some of the friendliest people in the wedding business. The event coordinator is the sweetest person and all of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and sincere. The staff also is very efficient in timely communication. In my experience the staff has always responded to emails within 24 hours. Many people/places I encountered while looking for a wedding venue came off as cold or money hungry but the feeling could not have been any more different at the Lan Su Garden. Whether it's walking through the garden for a stroll or planning a wedding I have always felt at home in this place. I would recommend everyone to at least check it out once if not call up the event coordinator and book your wedding.
