The phoenix convention center was the best place for venues and to get things done, during high school I participated in theater where I became an honorary thespian, well every November they hold "thespian festival" at this convention center where we compete, watch shows, do workshops to better ourselves or to learn and overall, have a good time. This convention center is roomy and very hygienic. It is big enough to support a few thousand people and there are plenty of places to eat around the area along with hotels. A company can accomplish a lot in this place if they decide to do workshops and are ready to have a good time. I recommend this to companies who want to hold a convention for a group a few thousand.

Great Conference Center - An Eventective User from Phoenix, Az

I recently was part of a conference that was held at the Phoenix Convention Center, in Phoenix. It was a really good experience. The venue itself is very nice, it is clean, spacious, and in a great location. Our event had around 500 participants and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. We used their rooms along with their catering services. Breakfast was always great, both hot and cold breakfast foods were available for us. Lunch was boxed lunches but there were 5 varieties available. The sandwiches were great. We didn't have an official dinner, but the venue is in central Phoenix, and there are plenty of hotels and restaurants around. Our sponsor used a nearby hotel/restaurant to hold a conference happy hour for our attendees, which was a nice change of scenery. The convention center has rooms of all sizes available, we had a mix of smaller meeting rooms and the large "expo" room. There is plenty of room for registration areas, vendors, sponsors, etc. The staff was also very helpful and was able to solve all last minute issues that we came across. It was a very successful event, and we received numerous emails after commenting on it.

Great place for large events - An Eventective User from Phoenix, AZ

I have been to the Phoenix Convention Center numerous times for different events. I have been there a couple of times for car shows. I have also been there for fairs related to specific events like annual marathons. Mostly, however, I go there every year for Eid al-Fitr prayer. It has lots of space on the top floor or bottom floor for everyone to gather and pray. It has recently been rebuilt and is stunning inside and out. The exterior is very modern with lots of glass. The interior is just as amazing with lots of natural light and space to meet. It is very large over multiple floors and has both escalators and elevators to reach all of the levels. There are generous facilities like places to eat or serve food and the usual like restrooms. The car shows (like the Annual Phoenix International Auto Show)that I attended were amazing because it was a perfect venue for it. There were cars from all over the world and even a large area to show how good Jeeps are at rough terrain by letting people test them. The food serving areas I have seen there look just like the ones one might see in a ballpark like Chase Field. I will be going there again soon for Eid prayer and the area is great around it because there are lots of hotels in the same downtown area as well as lots of parking structures. It is never a problem to find parking there.
