Barkley House is one of the oldest masonry houses in Florida and the last remaining early 19th century example of a High House in Pensacola. George Barkley, a successful Pensacola merchant, built the house between 1825 and 1830 from bricks salvaged from Pensacola’s British fortifications. The Barkley family lived in the house through the 1950s. Today it is an integral piece of Historic Pensacola Village, part of the University of West Florida Historic Trust. Because of its beautiful grounds and spectacular view, it is a popular venue for outdoor weddings and receptions.
The Barkley House can accommodate 50-200 people depending on how you use the space. The interior space can accommodate up to 50 guests for standing cocktail reception or 30 guests for seated function. The exterior space can easily accommodate 200 or more guests. Tables and chairs are available for up to 175 guests.

If you are looking for a picturesque option for your next event, Fountain Park is the perfect respite from the hustle and bustle of the city. South of Seville Square, this small park has a decorative fountain, donated by the Fleming family, highlighting various scenes of Pensacola history. This location serves as a beautiful backdrop for small weddings, festivals, and celebrations.
Fountain Park can easily accommodate 200 attendees.
The small parking lot attached to Fountain Park is included in the booking. The parking lot may be blocked off for events, but it is the responsibility of the renter to block off the lot. Barricades and cones are not provided.

The Museum of Commerce provides a snapshot into life in an 1890s streetscape complete with historic store fronts and artifacts on exhibit. While the space may be busy with action, your event will take center stage. Whether you are planning a wedding reception, luncheon or banquet, corporate party, or concert, this space puts your event dreams into motion.
The Museum of Commerce can accommodate 150-175 for seated functions and 200-250 for receptions. Tables and chairs are available for up to 200 guests.

This picturesque park, located behind the Pensacola Museum of History, opened in 2019 and is the largest venue space at the Historic Trust. With over 13,000 feet of event space, the possibilities are endless on the plaza. Set the stage for your next large event at this multi-use green space.
Museum Plaza includes an outdoor education center featuring a covered stage and seating area ideal for presentations, performances, lectures and other outdoor activities.
Museum Plaza can easily accommodate 400 attendees.

Completed in 1832, Old Christ Church is one of the oldest surviving church buildings in Florida, serving the Pensacola community as an Episcopal Church, public library and museum. The building was also occupied by federal troops during the Civil War. The restored church provides a beautiful backdrop for weddings, concerts and speaking events. Old Christ Church can be rented for weddings, concerts, and educational lectures and programs.
Old Christ Church can accommodate approximately 150 guests.
Old Christ Church is rented in 4-hour time blocks. For weddings, 1 hour can be used for a rehearsal the day before or a few days before and the other 3 hours for the ceremony. If available, additional time can be added to the rental for $100.00 per hour.

One of Pensacola's top tourist destinations for decades, Trader Jon's was named after infamous owner Martin "Trader Jon" Weissman. Decorated with photos and memorabilia, this space was a safe haven where young flight students, military personnel, astronauts and movie stars rubbed shoulders with local politicians, characters and the occasional ne'er-do-well. Any intimate event with a lively group of friends would be perfectly suited for this vibrant space, inside the Pensacola Museum of History.
The Trader Jon's Exhibit can accommodate 50-75 guests for receptions only.

Opened in 2014, this multicultural center highlights the diversity of the city through exhibits representative of culture groups that have shaped Pensacola history. This space includes an oral history recording room where additional stories can be recorded and archived. Voices of Pensacola can accommodate 40-50 for seated functions and 75-100 for receptions. Tables and chairs are available for up to 50 guests.
