Greatest venue ever, An Eventective User from brentwood, CA

This venue is a great venue. I had searched long and hard for a venue that was this nice. One that had everything I needed. It has a beautiful view and nice rooms for the option of having an outdoor wedding or an indoor wedding. I had my ceremony outside. And a beautiful reception and cocktail hour inside. The great and best part about this venue is that the catering is right there. They don't require you to call a caterer and hope that they will be on time. This took out a huge hassle for me. They even reccomend you an event designer. So basically if you don't have the time to do a lot of planing this is the place to go. I would say that the best part is the view. That is what they should be known for. I also loved the way the employees always had a smile on their face and seems to love tier job like it was their child. They put so much care into everything. I would like to say that they made my wedding experience less of a hassle and way more fun.

The experience at La Venta Inn was excellent from pre-wedding planning, the service, the food, to of course, the view. We live in Florida and had to do everything by e-mail and phone, La Venta's coordinator Mike helped us a lot and made everything easier. On the day of the wedding, they had everything set up and ready and there's literally no stress. The service at the reception was exceptional; like any couples, we were so busy with photo taking and things, but every time when we come back to our sweetheart table, our waiter would come and ask if we would like anything to drink. I didn't think my wedding day can be so stress-free, but La Venta really made that happened. and Of course, the view was fantastic!!! even now, my guests still tell me how much they enjoyed the view , the service, and the food at our wedding. Yes, it can be a little pricey ( depends on the menu service you choose), but I think for the service you get, it is worth it. I have a small wedding of 50 people, so it worked out great. The place is not huge, so if you have more than 100 people, it might get a little crowded. But they say they can fit up to 120 I think ( check on that.) I would definitely recommend La Venta Inn for weddings.

This is a dream place for a beautiful California wedding. It is in the hills above the Palace Verdes Peninsula, in the La Venta Inn were it is a beautifully restored with 1920's Spanish villa. La Venta has award-winning catering from New York Food Company, and it has panoramic views of Los Angeles, the Pacific Ocean, and it has a picturest sunset as the backdrop for amazing photographs. La Venta features a courtyard entrance perfect for any occation, a Great Room with a giant stone fireplace, dramatic domed ceilings, historical architecture, and windows overlooking the ocean from every room. Now the outside terrace overlooks the beautifully appointed gardens and an outdoor ceremony area, which were created specifically for memorable, and ocean-view weddings. I had my wedding there in October 2005. I absolutly loved it. This was such a great place to were I would want to have my 50 year wedding renued vowes done there. I would advice anyone who would like a beach wedding without the sand and have the view this is the perfect place.

Ceremony & Reception Venue, An Eventective User from Charlestown, MA

We recently had our wedding at La Venta. It was spectacular and more than we could have hoped for. They provide you with a personal coordinator who works with you throughout the planning and is there on the day of the wedding (included in the price.) The venue itself is gorgeous and intimate. The view is killer and the price is reasonable (which are both tough to find in LA.) LA Venta is catered by the New York Food Co which has such fresh and delicious food. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the guests raved about it. On our wedding day, it rained (it felt more like a hurricane in LA!!!) but no worries, our coordinator moved everything to Plan B without batting an eye. And it all turned out perfectly! Every staff, from the servers to the bartenders, were super professional and very helpful. If you are looking for a more intimate, unique wedding venue with wonderful food and a breathtaking view, La Venta is the place for you!
