My husband and I moved from Boston to Orlando several years before we got married. We had no family in the area and everyone attending would be flying in for the event. We wanted to still have a New England feel and love good seafood. We had been to the Boston Lobster Feast on International Drive in the past on vacation and though it would be a great location. The manager and staff were amazing! The chain had planed a price hike a month before our reception but allowed us to lock in the lower pricing just by booking the location and did not require a retainer. They were wonderful over the phone with our in-laws. I was surprised at how much they were willing to do over the phone and without us needing to come down for appointments all the time. They worked very well with our baker and provided a lovely table and area for our cake to be set up and displayed. They sectioned off a large portion of the dinning area just for us, and while eating you would never have known there was a buffet around the corner with other dinners. They provided a large amount of waitstaff and we never needed anything. Their wine selection was great and they provided a bottle for toasting with. The food was exceptional. I would not have been more pleased with where we went for our wedding reception and they made us feel like we had never left Boston. Our whole family, from 4 year old children to 85 year old seniors had a great time and were always comfortable and well cared for.
