We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! From start to finish, the entire experience at Golden Ocala was seamless, organized, and enjoyable. Having catering, bar service, and Georgina acting as our planner/coordinator included all in one place made the planning process so much less stressful. She has lots of ideas and recommendations and was very open to working with ours as well. We met with their team several times leading up to the wedding for our food tasting, layout planning through their easy-to-use online platform, and selecting chairs, linens, and table décor. Every meeting left us feeling confident and excited. The online seating tool was especially helpful – we could assign each guest, track meal choices, and note dietary restrictions, and they were very flexible in accommodating those needs. Communication was always prompt, and budgeting was clear with different packages to choose from. The venue itself is beautiful, with multiple ceremony options – garden, pond, covered porte cochere, or indoors – plus an updated and spacious ballroom with a veranda and bar area. There was plenty of parking, clear signage, elevator access, and a weather backup plan, which gave us peace of mind. What truly set them apart was their attention to detail. They took care of things we did not even think about – like adding pearl overlays to the tables after noticing the pearl detailing on my dress. It was such a thoughtful touch and tied everything together beautifully. Georgina also created our personalized welcome sign and seating chart sign, which made everything look cohesive and polished. We were allowed to store items and bring our cake in advance, and they gave us access to the getting-ready suites all day, including serving us brunch. On the wedding day, we felt hands-off as they coordinated with our outside vendors and ensured everyone was aligned and on schedule. Everything ran smoothly, and we were able to fully enjoy the day with our family and friends. We highly recommend Golden Ocala to anyone looking for a beautiful space, excellent service, and a team that genuinely goes above and beyond.
