Sony Hall has been renovated to offer a grandeur venue with the option of live world-class entertainment, an immersive sound system and still embodies the legacy of New York City. First opened in 1938 by a theatrical showman and impresario Billy Rose, formally Diamond Horseshoe was known for dinner theaters, exclusive parties, & vaudeville-style reviews.
Our non-union venue has a full stage, IMAG, Full-scale lighting designs, Full Backline & a one of a kind Audio System. Our venue can host 1,000 guests for a standing concert, 100 - 700 guests for a cocktail reception, 100 - 400 for a Seated Dinner, up to 550 for a theatre style engagement & can customize the room for your event.
Located in the heart of New York’s Theatre District & Times Square, Sony Hall now does large corporate meetings, birthdays, bar Mmtzvahs, concerts, galas, boxing events or anything that would require a large number of people to celebrate in one classic and stunning venue.
To confirm the space, a 1) Signed Contract with 2) A Completed Credit Card Authorization Form(even if paying by check) and 3) 50% deposit must be received or transferred upon signing of the agreement. Your event is not confirmed without all items sent over and a confirmed receipt is sent to the client. Once all items are received a Co-Signed contract will be sent over for your Event Confirmation.
Final Balance Due is due no later then 7 days prior to the Event Date. If not received the CC Form on file will be charge with a 4% CC transaction fee.
All event details, Food and Beverage and Guest Count must be finalized no later than (7) days prior to your event date.
Cancellation & Deposit Refunds:
Cancellation of the event by the client shall make the entire amount of the contract due and payable to Sony Hall unless the event is prevented, rendered impossible or infeasible by any act or regulation of any public authority or bureau, civil tumult, epidemic, war conditions or emergencies.
All deposits are non-refundable. In the event of a cancellation more than (90) days prior to the event day, the deposit (less 25% penalty) may be applied to another event booked within the same calendar year.
Final guest count guarantee is due five (5) business days prior to the function date. If a final guest count guarantee is not given by the Client, the final bill will be based on the Estimated Attendance stated above or the total number of guests in attendance, whichever is larger. The final guaranteed attendance number may not be less than eighty percent (80%) of the Estimated Attendance stated above. Sony Hall does not guarantee that it can accommodate food and service for more than 10% above the final guarantee. Sony Hall will have a clicker to ensure number of guests; such statements will be binding and conclusive for all parties.
Client shall obtain insurance to cover its activities at Sony Hall. The following insurance coverage's are required: minimum commercial general liability limits of $1,000,000 per occurrence, with a $2,000,000 general policy aggregate.
