The pavilion offers excellent accommodation to all there guest. It is a top of the line place to host parties, weddings,and many other events such as fashion shows . It has loading docks to bring in supplies It offers great service and is an overall great place to host an event. It has excellent service, it is a very clean place with a large areas to do many things. It has several different rooms in it that can hold anything from 200 guest to 1600 guest. The subway is nearby so there is no need to stress about parking or traffic. It is at a historical location so it attract a lot of attention. It has a very peaceful vibe and very modern technology. I have never been to such a nice place. I could not stop talking about the service there and the view that you had. I would recommend it to anyone that was going to have a event. By far the greatest place in New York.

We had our annual Christmas party here in the Level, which is one of their 5 or 6 event spaces. The smallest space fits up to 280 guests and the largest I believe around 6-700 guests. Our party only had about 115 people, so it was a bit large of a space for us, but we made it work. Kaitlin was the initial deal closer for us. It was wonderful to work with her, but sadly she left the company just a week prior to our event. Had I known this, I probably would not have booked the Metropolitan. However, everything was redeemed when we were paired with Louis (I think was his name) the night of event. He is amazing. Be prepared, as this is not a true raw space. You rent furniture, catering, and sound systems exclusively through them and their ""approved"" companies they are in contract with. I fully understand this from a business perspective, and the food did not disappoint...but if you are hoping to go for a cheaper route, do not book here as their services cost a pretty penny. It took an arm and a leg to be able to book our own DJ and bring in our own sound system...oh and let me forwarn you that it will cost $400 just for some guy to come and plug in an iPod....yes, I'm serious. We were also approached with a $2,000 rate for flowers...I did them myself for less than $500. Overall it's a gorgeous space with endless possibilities, and located in a fairly central part of Manhattan. If you are doing a large scale event, then this place is perfect for it.

This place is great. I try to book all of my meetings here because of just how nice and calm feeling it is. This place is beautiful with the multiple colors throughout the area. The drinks and food are really great too. Anywhere that makes me feel comfortable I enjoy; this is one of those places. I recommend this place to anyone, meetings or lounge.

The Metropolitan Pavilion is the best place to hold a wedding venue in the New York area. I personally suggested this to family memebers and they have held there wedding here and enjoyed there time here. The price is good for the location and the quality of the rooms. They have many different rooms to comfort the size of the venue and the prices are great. You can not go wrong with the service offered!


Beautiful White Wedding, An Eventective User from New York

I wanted to have my wedding in a modern, urban loft. After looking around at several places, I came to the conclusion that the Metropolitan Pavilion is the most beautiful loft-style space in Manhattan. It's conveniently located in Chelsea with lots of parking. Other loft-style venues tend to be located in grungier areas in the Garment District or Hell's Kitchen, and it's harder to find parking. The fourth floor of the Pavilion has famous glossy milk-white floors which are perfect for both a ceremony or a reception. The walls are bright white too. We used the room for both and had a great afternoon affair. The versatile, spacious room is equipped for catering and also contains a hallway with smaller rooms that can be used as dressing rooms for the bride and groom. One thing you should know about booking at a loft is that you have to pay for everything a la carte, from insurance to chairs to table settings. I didn't mind this, though, because I like to have control of things ;-) We paid a pretty low basic rate for the room, just a few thousand dollars. When I approached the venue, the first thing we did was to decide upon a date. Fortunately, the September date I wanted was available. I think it's pretty competitive though, so it's probably advisable to book in advance. The Metropolitan Pavilion is also known for events like the Chocolate Show, which take place on the first floor. It's a great, centrally-located establishment that knows how to cater to guests, since there are so many events held at this place.
