The Tigermen Den is an Community Arts and Event space in New Orleans' historic Bywater District. Located at the corner of Royal and Clouet, this treasured historic building was originally a corner store in the early 19th century. Now beautifully restored, The Tigermen Den’s simple elegance and romantic charm inspires a new generation of creative minds as a space for artists to create and display their work, as well as a being the back drop for our monthly cultural and community oriented events. Private Party Events-- Allow The Tigermen Den to become the magical backdrop to your next gathering. Each room has a unique character and personal appeal to complement a diverse array of celebratory and creative occasions. Our capacity is 60 people for a sit down event- 125 standing room. We are happy to host event from 30 person and up. Are rates vary depending on the time of year and special needs of your event. A general range of rates for base rent are listed on our site under the PRIVATE RENTAL tab. Also there is a link to take a virtual tour through the space on our Private Rental page.. so if you are not in New Orleans you can still do a virtual walk through. We are located in a quiet area of the Bywater and all events must end at 10pm sharp The Tigermen Den is handicap accessible. has 1 large parlor area, a slightly smaller gallery room attached to the large parlor, a grand hallway, covered backyard porch, covered corner, 3 ways of entry, a garden area, 6 floor to ceiling french doors opening on to the corner, a behind the scenes work room/ staging area/ kitchen, large closet and VIP private bridal suite with sink and shower with separate entrance and a door accessing the hall. All base rental comes with the use of vintage tables and 60 vintage wood folding chars, use of a high end PA system with iPod plug in, use of our Bar set up, access to our back garden area, several ice chest for chilling wine and beer and refrigerator storage. We provide a range of additional services such as, Catering referral, Kitchen area for prep and staging, a Private VIP deluxe Bridal suite, Flower, Decor, Live Music, Photographers for events, DJs, specialty drinks, linen rental, plate/glassware rental, room set up and more... Drop us a line and we will send you a list of questions about your event so we can provide you with an accurate quote. The next step would be to meet at the space or set up a phone meeting to go over the finer points of your event. Note we have a monthly Cajun Brunch and Dance every Second Sunday of the month from 11am-3pm that is open to the public. This is a great time to come and see the space in action. Film and Photo Shoots-- The classic drama of The Tigermen Den makes it a beautiful and unique venue for film and photo shoots. Take advantage of the building’s natural romance, or adapt the space to suit your creative vision. Alternatively, The Gallery's 10 x15 ft white wall provides minimalism for those seeking a blank canvas. The wrap-around, floor to ceiling French doors and shutters lining the walls of The Gallery and The Parlour allow for easy day-time light control. Rehearsal Dinner - An Eventective User from St. Louis, MO

Tigermen Den was the perfect spot to hold a rehearsal dinner for our son's New Orleans wedding. I was nervous planning this from out of town, but the staff was wonderful. We visited once and all other arrangements were made via phone and email. They helped to create a memorable evening for family and friends. Everyone who walked in the door raved about this unique and classic New Orleans venue.
