Perfect setting with fabulous food - An Eventective User from Metairie

We had our wedding this past month at Magnolia Plantation. We anguished forever over what reception venue to pick. We researched for months. There were some good ones and some not so good. However, none of them held a candle to the facility, staff and service that Magnolia Plantation offered. They had by far the best pricing and were far and away the best value. We were nervous that corners might be cut but everything about the facility and service was over the top. There were no lines for drinks or food at any time. The staff never stopped bringing things out. It was unbelievable. The positive comments and compliments from our guests said it all. Their staff seemed to be everywhere. We could not have found a better facility and it greatly exceeded our expectations. Thank you, Sue and Colette. You are the best. You really made the entire process stressful and memorable. Fabulous experience at Magnolia Plantation - An Eventective User from New Orleans, Louisiana

Beautiful facility and incredible staff and service. Food was beyond expectations both in quality and quantity. It never stopped. Unlike many other local venues we have been to and checked out there was never a wait or an unending line for food or drinks. The food just kept coming and coming! Many of the guests asked for the recipe for the gumbo - and got it! I think it may have been the best I have ever had. The food was not the typical institutional fried stuff that is heat and serve. The multiple bars never had lines despite a very large wedding party (450) This is where I have seen other wedding reception sites cut costs and guests complain. I guess the ultimate compliment is that 2 of the bridesmaids have now decided to hold their reception there too. Wonderful owners and staff made it so easy and stress free that we could all concentrate on having a wonderful time.It was a seamless and well organized from start to finish. They thought of everything.

The second floor venue consists of The Dauphine room, The Toulouse room and The Bourbon room.
