Nestled on a beautiful 80-acre site in southern Illinois, Cedarhurst celebrates the arts year-round with exciting visual and performing arts programs for the public. The stunning architecture and grounds, including Cedarhurst Sculpture Park, make Cedarhurst Center for the Arts a unique and exciting backdrop for any occasion. Our recent expansion added a 3450 sq. ft. Performance/ Special Events Hall and a full commercial kitchen to the Mitchell Museum building. Through partnership with our approved caterers, we offer a variety of cuisine, styles, services and price ranges to fulfill your every need for a truly special event.

Retreat at Mitchell House

Cedarhurst hosted our SSM Health Southern Illinois Steering Team for a day long retreat. The setting was perfect for conversations that went deeply into our mission of healthcare to the poor and vulnerable - we needed reflective space for low tech and high impact conversations. Courtney and the Cedarhust team made us welcome and comfortable. We had access to Mitchell House for setup, and made use of all rooms of the house, including a spacious kitchen for use by our Sodexo chefs and staff. Surround your team with beauty and hospitality rather than a cold corporate conference space.
