Venue 1824 is located in the heart of downtown Melbourne, Florida. If you are looking for an intimate setting in a warm and inviting atmosphere, this is your place. Venue 1824 is a mixture of old and new. Originally built in 1893, the sanctuary is breathtaking, with original hardwood floors, an amazing ceiling of woodwork with exposed beams, and beautiful stained-glass windows. If you are interested in having a wedding, we also have a bride and groom rooms available. Accommodates 200 guests. The lower-level event hall offers a newly renovated, elegant reception area, with french doors opening to a quant and inviting courtyard. This space also includes a large commercial kitchen. The reception hall accommodates approximately 100-150 guests depending on setup. Courtyard and patio area can add approximately 50-75 guests.
