The Flint Hills Discovery Center is a one of a kind venue for your special day with opportunities for outdoor or indoor events. The rental includes the Rooftop Terrace offers a spectacular view of Manhattan and the Kansas River Valley, access to both floors of exhibits, two private dressing rooms and children's play area. Depending upon the set up we are able to seat 200 for a ceremony, 240 for a seated dinner and up to 500 for a stand up reception. Rental is a seven hour time slot between 5:00 PM and midnight with earlier access to some areas.
Enjoy a private evening at the Flint Hills Discovery Center. Your guest have access to explore both floors of exhibits, children's play area, theater and entry atrium. Rental is a three hour time slot between 5:00 PM and midnight and may be extended at an hour rate. The capacity is 200 for a seated dinner, 400 for a stand up reception.

Planted in prairie grasses and flowers with views of Manhattan and the Kansas River valley the rooftop terrace is a unique options for wedding ceremonies or receptions, or receptions for businesses and organizations. Available from 4:00 PM to midnight with a capacity of 150 for seated dinner, 280 for a wedding ceremony or 200 for a stand up reception.
Our private rooms are available for daytime and evening meetings, socials, showers, birthday parties and other special events. The capacity is 26 for a conference meeting, 36 for a meeting at rounds, 48 for dinner or 55 for a stand up reception. Rooms may be combined for larger reception capacity or with the rooftop terrace rental. Complimentary AV is available. Room rental plus exhibit access packages are available.

Reserve our comfortable space for your event. Life’s Finer Moments has a beautiful event lodge and rental cabins available for your wedding, reunion, reception, meeting, and much more! Cabins are available for separate rental or in combination with your special lodge event. We are on 40 acres, so use our outdoor space for unlimited capacity!
