Piedmont Smokehouse is a family owned business located in the beautiful Piedmont region of Central Virginia. The chef and pitmaster has spent many years in the restaurant field in such locations as New York, Austin TX, Flagstaff AZ, Steamboat Springs CO and finally, in New Orleans Louisiana where he discovered his love for low-country and French Creole cuisine. Chef Chris also loves to prepare cowboy beans, hush puppies, fried catfish, fried okra and fried green tomatoes as well as Hoppin' John, Maque Choux, deep fried sweet plantains and gumbo.
