The Shepherd Stage is in the main Sanctuary of the historic Church of the Good Shepherd at Queen and Margaret in Downtown Kitchener, Ontario. We are an acoustic venue suited to performances with acoustic dynamics in mind. Perfect for, but not limited to: solo blues/songwriter/vocalists to string quartet, percussion, choral, orchestral to spoken word or Celtic jams, cultural community groups, and so much n between. From music school recitals, to feature festival performances, to album release celebrations to recording events, this venue is built to catch and share clean clear wonderful sounds.
Amplification required is minimal, if necessary.
The Shepherd Stage area includes 200 seats (including performers/staff), front entrance with a vestibule for merchandise sales, four-plus two-channel jbl, 1 speaker tower-style PA with mic., four Stagelights with the remote board, remote backlighting, backdrop with Shepherd Stage and/your banner
Private rehearsal/warm-up space during the rental, onsite building manager to open and close the building and, post rental cleaning fee, lower-level restrooms.
Other services and spaces available for an additional rental fee include; rentals for other spaces such as the Upper Hall, Lower Hall, Food Safe Kitchen, Fireside Room, Boardroom; creation and usage of Shepherd Stage promotional material for the event; staff assist with or training for use of Shepherd Stage lighting and audio gear for the day of the event; and additional hours for main space.

Terms and Conditions
A $100 refundable security deposit (cash only) shall apply to all rentals without exception, and must be
submitted with the signed rental contract within 7 days of issue. Failure to do so may result in the
Licensee losing the requested dates.
All rental rates are payable no less than thirty (30) days prior to the commencement of the Rental Period. All other charges incurred by the Licensee are due and payable thirty (30) days after the Rental Period ends: payable by cash, cheque, or e-transfer.
Cancellation of this agreement with greater than sixty (60) days’ notice from the first day of the rental period will result in no penalty and the Licensee’s deposit of $100 will be returned in due process. Cancellation of this agreement with greater than thirty (30) days and less than sixty (60) days’ notice from the first day of the rental period will result in a cancellation fee of $100 regardless of whether a replacement user can be obtained. Cancellation of this agreement or any part thereof within thirty (30) days from the first day of the rental period will result in a charge equal to the deposit, fifty percent (50%) of the rental fee, and cleaning charges for the entire Rental Period.
