A unique blend of a private venue with the charm of a bed & breakfast, the Waldo Astoria is the perfect place to host your next celebration or weekend retreat. It is named after the old Waldo Astoria Theater near 75th & Wornall Rd, which opened in 1924 (and closed in 1991) and was a successful movie theater and playhouse. In the spirit of the roaring 20’s, and the keeping the entertainment scene in Waldo alive and well, we decided to bring back the old namesake!
